Small Victory!

The Department of Community Programs has stated their intention to remove their $1.6 million request to fund Tatlock lights from the 2024 Budget. This is a direct result of our coordinated efforts and intervention! However, we must stay focused and diligent because the light fight is not over. It is clear from their Facebook post that they are moving forward through the steps of this process to light the fields. Councilman Pawlowski said he envisions lights at Tatlock in 2025, so this request for funding may very well be reinstated for the 2025 budget. Until the proposal for stadium lights at Tatlock is a completely dead issue, we must continue to have our voices heard!
